The Taiwan leg of the Golden State Warriors SC30 Asia Under Armour tour marked history due to the incredible moment when a 17-year-old basketball player blocked Golden State star player Steph Curry during his three-point shot attempt. In the last five seconds of the quarter, Steph Curry summoned his signature last second three-point winning shot but got defeated by a young Gilas Player named Gian Mamuyac.
After the historical block, Curry proudly confirmed that the young player blocked him without incurring any foul. He gave Mamuyac a high five and gestured that it was a great defense. Same with Curry, Mamuyac looked overjoyed with the one of a kind achievement.
Other than earning praise from the NBA Superstar, Mamuyac also earned an MVP honor during the tour and a spot in the SC30 Basketball Camp which will be held in the USA.
